Hello everyone! Long time, no see! I have come back after a couple of months without any updates to share the best news of all: our beloved Mrs. Danes has finally joined Instagram! I can’t even believe this. And I really don’t want to be dramatic (I’m holding back a scream), but this is our moment, guys!! Go leave her all the sweet messages you’ve wanted to for all these years, cry about “Romeo + Juliet” and “Little Women”, yell desperately about “Homeland”, etc etc. Just please be respectful. Anyway, without further ado, Claire Danes’ official, verified account on Instagram is @clairedanes!

Flawless choice of first pic, too. ❤

Hey, guys, I’m on the gram! 👋👋👋 #toomuchtoosoon?

According to the website Oregon Live, Claire is set to appear on the season 7 premiere of the show PORTLANDIA, which airs at 7 p.m. and repeats at 10 p.m. on IFC Thursday, January 5.

Maybe Danes was relieved to be free of her Carrie Mathison character from “Homeland,” who’s forever crying, going through emotional turmoil and making hot-headed decisions about fighting international terrorism.

Danes definitely seems to be having a blast in the “Portlandia” Season 7 premiere as a storytelling coach, with dramatic hair and intense advice for the Fred and Carrie characters, who want to up their storytelling game to stand out at dinner parties.

According to an article posted by Variety, the 6th season of ‘Homeland’ will be set in the United States once again, this time in New York City. Showtime’s hit spy series has filmed all over the globe — from South Africa to Berlin. Read more about the upcoming season below.

Newly minted CEO David Nevins told reporters that “Homeland” will film its next season “in and around New York City,” revealing the news during his executive session at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, Calif. on Tuesday.

President of programming Gary Levine heaped praise on showrunner/executive producer Alex Gansa, saying, “We are in awe how Alex Gansa and his writers reinvent ‘Homeland’ every season. It’s exciting to see how they bring it back to the U.S. and reinvent it again.”

Nevins also addressed the fate of Quinn (Rupert Friend), who suffered sarin gas poisoning last season — and was last seen locked in a hospital room with Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). “I know and have seen exactly as much as you guys have seen,” he said. “There is no definitive answer given.”
