Hello! Welcome to Claire Danes Network, your #1 resource for actress Claire Danes. She is most known for her television work in shows like "My So-Called Life" and "Homeland", in which she's been starring since 2011. She has also been in many movies, such as "Romeo + Juliet", "Little Women", "The Rainmaker", Stardust", "The Family Stone" and, most recently, "Brigsby Bear" and "A Kid Like Jake". Please bear in mind that we are not official, and we do not have any kind of affiliation to Claire or her management. We are fans who aim to bring you news, pictures and videos related to Claire's career, always making sure her privacy is respected. We have brand new themes on our fansite! I’ve been slowly changing things this week, and I finally found the time to make a post about it. Our new layouts were designed by Kim, from atimelessmemory.org, with one of our favorite photoshoots of Claire from 2017. They’re very different from the ones we had before, but I hope you’ll like it as much as Isa and myself do!
Another year has come to an end, and it’s time to go through some of its highlights again!
The year of 2017 started with the premiere of Brigsby Bear at the Sundance Film Festival (x), and the 6th season of Claire’s hit television series Homeland, which airs on Showtime. It premiered on Sunday, January 15, and its last episode aired on April 9. She also made a cameo in the Season 7 premiere of the show Portlandia, which aired on January 5.
In order to promote the new season of “Homeland”, Claire covered the February issues of the magazines Marie Claire (x) and Harper’s Bazaar (x). She also appeared in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (x) and The Late Late Show with James Corden (x).
In February, it was announced that Claire would be starring in the film adaptation of A Kid Like Jake (x), along with actor Jim Parsons, who was also set to produce. Filming began sometime around June, when we got the first images of Claire on the set (x).
The first official trailer for “Brigsby Bear” was released in early July (x), and Claire attended its New York City screening on July 26 (x). The film premiered in select theaters around the United States on July 28.
Claire wrapped the year by giving us the gift of creating a public account on Instagram (@clairedanes), where she’s been regularly posting personal images. If that isn’t ending 2017 with a bang, I don’t know what is.
Thank you guys so much for supporting Claire Danes Network through its 3rd year online. Keeping up with Claire has been so much fun, and I know she has a lot in store for us in 2018. I hope this next year brings you love, happiness and success! I’ll see you then! ❤
Hello everyone! Long time, no see! I have come back after a couple of months without any updates to share the best news of all: our beloved Mrs. Danes has
finally joined Instagram! I can’t even believe this. And I really don’t want to be dramatic (I’m holding back a scream), but this is our moment, guys!! Go leave her all the sweet messages you’ve wanted to for all these years, cry about “Romeo + Juliet” and “Little Women”, yell desperately about “Homeland”, etc etc. Just please be respectful. Anyway, without further ado, Claire Danes’ official, verified account on Instagram is @clairedanes!
Flawless choice of first pic, too. ❤
According to the website Oregon Live, Claire is set to appear on the season 7 premiere of the show PORTLANDIA, which airs at 7 p.m. and repeats at 10 p.m. on IFC Thursday, January 5.
Maybe Danes was relieved to be free of her Carrie Mathison character from “Homeland,” who’s forever crying, going through emotional turmoil and making hot-headed decisions about fighting international terrorism.
Danes definitely seems to be having a blast in the “Portlandia” Season 7 premiere as a storytelling coach, with dramatic hair and intense advice for the Fred and Carrie characters, who want to up their storytelling game to stand out at dinner parties.
The Sundance Film Festival has announced the line-up of films selected for its U.S. Competition, World Competition and NEXT, and BRIGSBY BEAR, which stars Kyle Mooney, Claire, Mark Hamill and more, has made it into the list. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort January 19-29, 2017.

Hey guys! Our website has a new look! The theme was coded by our lovely friends Lora, from englishrain.org, and Nicole, from nowhereland.org. The session used on the header is quite old (it can be found here), but it’s one of my favorites so I couldn’t resist. We hope you like our new themes!
